Moshier Law is growing, and we’re looking for an Arizona Legal Paraprofessional licensed in Family Law to join our Phoenix team.

What You’ll Do

This is an active legal role, not simply a document-preparation or administrative position.

Within the scope of your Arizona LP license, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Independently manage assigned family law matters.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and other professionals.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, proposed orders, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and apply Arizona statutes, rules, and case law.
• File documents with the court.
• Negotiate appropriate legal issues and client matters.
• Appear in court and advocate for clients.
• Identify what needs to happen next and take ownership of getting it done.

You will also work closely with attorneys and the rest of the team when a matter falls outside the LP scope of practice or requires attorney involvement.

Some days will be highly structured. Some days will be, well… family law.

We’re looking for someone who can handle both.

The Family Law Matters You’ll Work On

You may work on matters involving:

• Divorce and legal separation
• Parenting time and legal decision-making
• Child support
• Spousal maintenance
• Paternity
• Modifications and enforcement
• Adoption
• Orders of Protection
• Other family law matters within the scope of an Arizona LP license

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• An active Arizona Legal Paraprofessional license in Family Law
• Experience or confidence working directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals
• Confidence appearing in court and advocating for clients
• Strong legal writing skills and exceptional proofreading abilities
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Experience conducting legal research
• The ability to exercise sound legal judgment within your scope of practice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently while being willing to jump in when the team needs help
• Compassion for clients who are often going through very difficult circumstances
